Fix Hot Sauce contacted me to introduce me to their sriracha hot sauce, and shared with me their story and their passion behind creating the perfect sauce. They sent me a bottle for me to try, and I decided to use it in a recipe to share with you! Honey Sriracha Shrimp
You will need:
1 pound raw shrimp, peeled and deveined, tails on, defrosted
4 tablespoons butter
1 tablespoon honey
1 tablespoon Sriracha sauce
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 tablespoons cilantro, finely chopped
½ lime, cut into wedges
Total time: 30 minutes. Serves 2-4.
1. Place a large pan over medium-high heat. Pat the defrosted shrimp dry with a paper towel. Melt the butter in the pan. Stir in the honey, Sriracha, and minced garlic. When the mixture is bubbly and simmering, add the shrimp to the pan. Some overlap is okay.
2. Cook for 2 minutes so the shrimp gets browned and caramelized on one side. Use tongs to turn over each shrimp to continue cooking for another 2 minutes. Cooking time may vary, so you may need to continue turning the shrimps over and over again until they are cooked through. Remove the pan from the heat and serve the shrimp on a plate.
3. Spoon the pan sauces over the shrimp and squeeze some fresh lime juice throughout the plate. Serve the shrimp with some lime wedges and cilantro for garnish.
