This year is moving by way too quickly, but I am learning to enjoy every moment, to keep on exploring, and to do my best each and every day. I have enjoyed these summer months while they lasted and I look forward to the months to come.
1) Bobapop (Arcadia, CA)
Bobapop wanted me to visit and help promote the opening of their newest location in Glendale, CA, located inside Super King Markets! I am such a fan of their drinks and the store aesthetic that I was happy to come promote. I got the BoBaPOP Milk Tea, Passion Fruit Slush and Grapefruit Tea.
2) Craft by Smoke and Fire (Arcadia, CA) - @saikofood
I had been very curious to try Craft by Smoke and Fire since it seems they’ve been opening new locations fairly quickly over the past few years. It is such a beautiful restaurant with a great vibe that we had to go check it out! We got the Mountain High Loaded Fries, M.A.C. Rib, and New Zealand Rack of Lamb w/Fresh Chimichurri Sauce. We also got to try a few cocktails too, including the Burn the Ships, Tequila Mockingbird, and Como La Flor.
Other Events/Collaborations:
I had the chance to help promote some vendors at one of the 626 Night Market events in Arcadia, the second to last one of this season! I got to try some awesome eats from four vendors. I got the Ube Creme Brulee from Hey Brulae, Dragonfruit Mango Green Tea from Bobaful, Casper Corn Dog from Ghostix, and Pepperoni Bao from Baozza. What’s awesome is that this is the 10th year for 626 Night Market. I am so proud of how much it has grown ever since it started in Pasadena!
I got a Yelp perk at Ubatuba Acai in Silver Lake and the artwork was so beautiful that I couldn’t resist taking a picture with it! I also had the opportunity to shoot a few events for Calajo Catering and some fun shoots for Ono Hawaiian BBQ!
