I can’t believe that half of the year is gone! I have been undergoing some life changes, including moving, so I wasn’t as active in the foodie scene lately, but I am still grateful for the opportunities!
1) Tastea (Arcadia, CA)
Tastea is always coming up with amazing flavors and one that stood out to me lately was the Green Thai Tea! It tasted so refreshing and was more on the floral side compared to the usual Thai Tea that looks orange. This was my first time visiting the Arcadia Tastea location and it was so cute! And of course, I had to get some other fun drinks during my visit, including the Tiger Milk Tea and Peach Me Freezie!
2) Mason’s Dumpling Shop at Kitchen United Mix (Pasadena, CA)
Kitchen United Mix wanted me to check out their new Santa Monica location but when I told them I was willing to support the one closer to home, they suggested Mason’s Dumpling Shop. Their food was so delicious and I was very impressed with their menu selection! I got the Steamed Soup Dumplings with Blue Crab & Pork, Pan Fried Pork Dumplings, Mushroom Meat Sauce over Rice, and Baby Bok Choy.
Other Collaborations:
Shrimp Daddy sent me some of their bottled Garlic Butter Sauce to try at home. They included some excellent suggestions on how to prepare the protein, how much garlic to add, and when to add in the sauce. My dish turned out delicious and I am in love with the sauce!
I had the opportunity to shoot a few events for Calajo Catering (featured here is a catering event I did) and some fun shoots for Ono Hawaiian BBQ!
