January, February, and March 2022 Recap!

Hope everyone has had a great 2022 so far! It has been a whirlwind and exciting year so far for me. I am excited for all the challenges and learning opportunities that this year will bring. As always, I am grateful to still have opportunities to try out products and restaurants as a foodie influencer.

1) Tay Ho (San Gabriel, CA) - @sliquemedia

I was so excited to try Tay Ho because of how great the food looked and how aesthetic and modern the restaurant was. I ordered the Tay Ho Banh Cuon Set, Lychee Green Tea, Garlic Noodles with Shrimp, and Crispy Egg Rolls. I loved that the menu was easy to read and that it has a more modern vibe compared to other Asian restaurants in the area, which encourages more people to come try it.

2) Acai Joint (Rosemead, CA) - @socialmedusa

Acai Joint opened a new location in Rowland Heights, and I was able to visit the Rosemead location to help promote the grand opening. I got to try the OG Bowl, which was a great generous portion and very beautifully arranged! Right before I left, I ordered a few smoothies to support them. They were so refreshing and I would definitely come back to try more items!

3) AK Fresh Roast (San Gabriel, CA)

AK Fresh Roast came under new management earlier this year, and they invited me to check out some new drinks they added to the menu. The Pandan Iced Coffee and Egg Iced Coffee have remained consistently great, and I got to try two new drinks:Strawberry Iced Coffee and Coco-Coconut Coffee. They were so unique and very refreshing! I look forward to seeing what they come up with next!

4) Everytable (Azusa, CA) - @js2pr

I had always been curious to try Everytable. It’s a neighborhood store where guests can enjoy a meal or take the food to-go. It’s such a great concept and I admire their commitment to providing good and nutritious food that is affordable and accessible to all. I got the Elote Caesar Salad, Carnitas Bowl, Thai Red Curry with Veggies, Turkey Taco Bowl, Egg Roll in a Bowl, and Apple & Walnut Chicken Salad, and I enjoyed everything I tried so far!

Other Collaborations:

Revive Superfoods sent over a box of goodies that included 3 Smoothies, 3 Super Meals, 1 Oat, 1 Super Kream, and 1 Soup. The instructions on each item were so easy to follow and everything was so delicious. I love their concept in that they make access to healthy foods easy with ready-to-enjoy foods shipped free to your door.

I had the chance to shoot a few individual desserts for Calajo Catering, including Ube Rice Cereal Bars, Love Gram (for Valentine’s Day), as well as a few photos during their February Bellissima Bridal Show. I also recently got the chance to do some shoots for Ono Hawaiian BBQ for their social media posts!
