2019 has been a quiet year so far, food-wise, but that is because I recently started doing portraits for people. I started a new instagram @lorettachenmedia and will feature some portraits on that page, as well as under the Events and Portraits on this website as I go along updating my portfolio. Here are a few media events from this month!
1. The Pie Hole (Pasadena, CA) - @dogandaduck
The Pie Hole wanted to share their new Pie of the Month and Drink of the Month with a Candied Blood Orange Yogurt Pie and Blood Orange Ginger Latte. The pie was delicious and with the yogurt, it was a unique texture! The Blood Orange Ginger Latte was unique with the ginger taste but I loved the candied blood orange slice on top!
2. King’s Row Gastropub (Pasadena, CA) - Guest of @camly.me
I had walked by this place a lot and was curious about their food. I was very impressed with the offerings they had! We started with two cocktails: Instant Hit and Bramble, and then we tried the Pork Belly Burger, Grilled Chicken Sandwich, and Fish ‘N Chips. Everything we tried was very delicious and I definitely want to come back again!
Other January events:
My first Yelp event of the year was an event to kick off Pasadena Cheeseburger Week! We went to 5 different spots to try burgers, beers, and more. We visited Dog Haus Biergarten, Vertical Wine Bistro, Umami Burger, Mi Piace, and Lucky Baldwin's. It was great checking out the different restaurants and their offerings, and it was fun exploring Pasadena and mingling/sitting with different people at each stop. We got so full but enjoyed this experience!
